FONDS LEFRANC
The Lefranc Fund aims to provide financial support to deserving students of the Brussels School of Engineering who have demonstrated outstanding intellectual and personal qualities.
This application form is intended for funding:
- a non-European exchange mobility program (in a country outside the Erasmus+ program);
- a project carried out outside Europe (CodePo, Master’s thesis, etc.);
- an internship undertaken outside Europe, provided that the internship is included in the student’s study program (PAE).
Eligible stays must be long-term, with a duration of more than 30 days, and the need to carry out the project, internship, or academic work on-site must be clearly justified.
The grant amount is generally around €1,000 per project. For AMO students (students with specific needs), the grant may amount to €1,300.
Applications that have also sought funding from other sources will be viewed positively.
Applications submitted to the Lefranc Fund are reviewed by the committee during its annual meeting, usually held in November or December, subject to the available budget. Applicants will be informed of the committee's decision after this meeting. No guarantee can be given regarding the award of financial support before that date.
