Dear students
the INFOF422 class will start on Tuesday, 11 February, at 12h in FORUM C, La Plaine Campus.
This optional MA class requires a specific background from students, notably concerning the basics of probability, statistics and Python programming. I've included a list of required know-how here.
If you do not feel comfortable with some of those topics, I invite you to read some related material (before next Tuesday). For instance, about probability and statistics notions, I invite you to read the Probability chapter of the course handbook (accessible from the UV page). Also, you can find plenty of resources about Python programming in the Bibliography section of the INFOF422 UV page
Another recommendation, based on last year’s students’ remarks, is to read the course slides before each class. The slides will be available on the UV page at least three days before the class.
